Thinking of joining Worcester u3a? Here are three great reasons why you should!
Reason 1
Your membership gives you access to a wide-ranging series of talks, social events and outings.
Have a look at the Events page to see what is happening. Some of our events are online but many are in-person, providing a fantastic opportunity to meet other u3a members in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere
Reason 2
We now have around 100 active interest groups! These include outdoor activities like walking and cycling, modern languages, art and crafts, dance, sports like pickleball, table tennis and short mat bowls, and much more. To the right are just some of the groups that have vacancies at present.
Do visit their pages and make contact with the group leader if you are thinking of joining u3a with a specific group in mind.
Reason 3
Worcester u3a is great value!
New members can join at the beginning of June and this provides 14 months of membership until renewal on 31st July the following year.
There are concessionary rates of 50% for those who are claiming benefits.
