Members Portal

Once you have joined our u3a, you will need to create your personal logon in our Members' Portal to gain access to your personal details and to change them when necessary. It is also how you will renew your membership.

Our Members Portal is an external site, called Beacon, that gives access to features that are only available to members of Worcester u3a.

If you have not yet registered for access, please read the instructions below to help you with this once only registration process:

  • 1. The first time that you log on to the members portal, click on “Register for a membership account”.
  • 2. You will then be required to identify yourself by providing your Membership number, Forename, Surname, Postcode and email address. If you are unsure then contact the Membership Secretary who can confirm what is held on the system
  • 3. Details must exactly match those held in our membership records.
  • 4. Then click on “Confirm Identity”.
  • 5. Create a password of at least 10 characters including a minimum of one upper case, lower case and numeric character.
  • 6. Click on “Update Account”
  • 7. You will see this screen confirming that you have been sent an email with a link and that you can close this browser window.
  • 8. You should receive an email from noreply@u3abeacon.org.uk asking you to CLICK A LINK to confirm your identity. DO NOT MISS THIS STEP. If no email arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder or junk mail.
  • 9. Clicking the link in the email will take you to a new logon screen where there will be a message to say that your email address has been verified. The confirmation email will expire after 1 hour. However, clicking Forgotten Password can be used to request a new confirmation email
  • 10. You can now, and in future, use the logon screen to log in to the Members Portal by entering your email address then clicking “Confirm Identity”. Then adding your password and clicking “Confirm Identity”

If you continue to have an issue please contact Membership
