Our main activity includes camera control, taking photographs and post processing. We also run projects of the users choice allowing us to cover various subjects of interest to our members.

We support this activity with practical demonstrations (possibly online) and view tutorials and videos about the subject, these cover the use of the controls and techniques available for the cameras and software we use.

Members are also encouraged to join and send their own images to the Group Flickr page so that successes can be shared with others or advice sought as to where further work could improve the image.

We use Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop along with Adobe Elements as they are market leading in image organisation & manipulation software and offer tremendous scope for making the best of photographs. There are several other makes of RAW editors & software packages available and we will endeavour to relate the Lightroom and Elements menus to the versions our members use.
