If you have a liking for jazz, in any of its many forms, why not come along and see if you enjoy listening to first-class jazz in a friendly environment?
We meet on alternate Thursday afternoons at 2.00pm, at Rushwick Village Hall, Bransford Rd, Rushwick, WR2 5TA. Our 2026/27 season starts on Thursday 17th September at 2 pm, with a programme that is different and full of interest, see you there!
Our meetings explore jazz as a living musical tradition, from early New Orleans roots to swing, bebop and modern styles. Through recordings, discussion and shared memories, members consider rhythm, improvisation and the personalities who shaped the music. No expertise is needed: just curiosity, listening ears and enjoyment of jazz.
