This is a weekly taught group where the members know some French but want to practise listening, speak and understanding French better.

We study enough grammar to improve our confidence in speaking good French and understanding what is said to us. We practise day to day French conversation by having a look at what's in the news and discussing articles on French culture and traditions. Some of us have just finished reading together Antoine Laurain's novel 'La Femme au carnet rouge' because it was an easy way to widen our vocabulary. At the start of the new programme, we will choose another novel

The autumn term starts on Monday 13 October. Sessions are 90 minutes long.
