'We are a group continuing to learn French on a weekly basis, at Worcester Golf Club, Bransford Road, Worcester.  (Our meeting room is on the first floor and accessed by a staircase). We use various resources (visual/written) for the content of our lessons; we cover many topics, eg festivals; and we write short accounts of personal experiences, eg holidays, etc, and make presentations.  As an additional aid to further our reading, translation, comprehension and speaking French, we read easy french novels in class.

Our overall aim is to feel more confident in conversing and understanding the spoken/written French language, and enable coping with visits to France or other french-speaking venues.  Having learned some French, possibly achieved ‘O’ level in the past would ease working within this group.'
