The national u3a organises annual events and regular online talks and workshops on a wide variety of topics. National u3a events include u3a Week, an annual event each September to "showcase the activity, learning and fun which takes place across the movement every day. It is a celebration of positive ageing, highlighting our members' lived experience." There is also a 3-day annual festival, usually the first week in July, aimed at being "a celebration of fun, learning and the community that makes u3a so special."

Worcester is part of the Cotswold Link regional u3a group. They run annual Special Interest Days in June, usually in Cheltenham.

U3a West Midlands Region covers Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire. It produces occasional newsletters containing links and sources of current regional events and activities. It also provides a list of all the u3as in its area.
